The Four Major Services:
Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Kasih Jing Yuan serves as a nursing center for critically ill patients, a hospice for terminally ill patients, a care center for stroke patients, and also provides medical equipment loan services for home hospice patients.
Long-term Care/Hospice Care Center
The center offers wound cleaning, nasogastric tube and catheter replacements for critically ill patients. The hospice team, consisting of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, religious instructors, and volunteers, provides symptom relief treatment, mental support, and grief counseling for family members.
Stroke Center
They admit patients with strokes, cerebral palsy, vegetative state, and progressive paralysis. They offer personal care services such as bathing, diaper changing, turning over, sputum suction, milk tube feeding, haircuts, and nail trimming for patients who cannot care for themselves.
Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center
The center assists stroke patients and those with disabilities caused by accidents in achieving self-care. The traditional Chinese medicine team provides acupuncture services weekly, and along with regular rehabilitation activities led by physical therapists, they aim to restore the patients' normal mobility.
In addition, physical therapists also go back to Pandan Indah to provide physical therapy for patients, increasing their chances of recovery.
Medical Equipment Loan Service
The center offers medical equipment for loan, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, crutches, IV stands, oxygen machines, sputum suction machines, air mattresses, and portable toilets.
