Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Kasih Jing Yuan, established on March 7, 2013, is a non-profit care center founded by a group of dedicated volunteers.

The main purpose of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Kasih Jing Yuan is to provide shelter and care for those who have no one to rely on and are bedridden due to long-term illnesses, including residents with end-stage cancer. These residents belong to the underprivileged group living below the poverty line. They are referred to the centre by government hospitals. After conducting home visits and assessments, volunteers evaluate and confirm them as genuine care recipients in need of assistance.

With the compassionate belief of “Selfless Dedication and Boundless Love,” Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Kasih Jing Yuan offers both physical and emotional support, providing residents with a place of refuge where they have a home, receive proper care, are looked after in their old age, and ultimately have a place to belong.

In addition to taking responsibility for each resident’s daily needs, when a resident reaches the end of life, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Kasih Jing Yuan upholds the principle of respecting life through compassionate care. The organization accompanies and serves residents until their final moments, honors their last wishes, and conducts farewell ceremonies according to their individual beliefs, allowing them to depart with dignity.

Initially established as an end-of-life care center in Taman Mutiara Barat, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Kasih Jing Yuan later separated critically ill residents from stroke residents and established a dedicated stroke care center in Pandan Indah.

Five years after its establishment in 2018, the critically ill residents were relocated to a more suitable recuperation environment in Setapak, where they remain to this day.
